• What is a "Break"?

A box break is an event in the world of collecting, particularly for trading cards. At a box break, a sealed box of cards is opened live, usually via an online broadcast. Participants purchase shares or teams/elements, and the cards are then distributed according to the order in which they were opened. This allows collectors to receive cards without having to buy the whole box, while adding an element of suspense and excitement. It's a social and interactive way to discover new cards.

  • What do I get when I buy a spot in a break?

When you buy a place in a box break, you acquire the right to participate in the opening of a trading card box. Here's what's involved:

    1. Participation: By purchasing a slot, you agree to join the event where the box will be opened.
    2. Team allocation: Depending on the structure of the break, your place may allocate you a specific team or several teams/elements, depending on the rules set by the organizer.
    3. Card distribution: When the box is opened, cards will be distributed to participants according to the teams/elements assigned to them. This means that if cards from your team/elements are drawn, you will receive them.
    4. Random aspect: It's important to note that there's no guarantee that you'll receive cards, as this depends on the contents of the box and the cards drawn.

In short, buying a place in a box break gives you the opportunity to receive collectible cards, but with an element of chance linked to the opening of the box.

  • How can I find out which team/elements I'll be receiving in a break?

In a box break, the team you receive is usually determined by a randomization process. Here's how it usually works

    1. Team/Element selection: Before the break, the organizer lists all available teams/elements, and participants can either choose a team/element or receive a randomly assigned one.
    2. Randomization: In the case of random assignment, the organizer can use a random number generator or similar method to assign teams/elements to participants. This ensures fair distribution.
    3. Live break: During the live break, the organizer will open the box and reveal the cards. The teams/elements assigned to each participant will be used to determine who receives which cards, based on the teams/elements represented in the cards drawn.

To find out which team/element you've been assigned, you can usually check the break details on the platform where it's hosted, or wait for the organizer to announce the teams/elements during the live stream.

  • Am I guaranteed to receive one or more cards in a break?

In a break, it is not guaranteed that every participant will receive cards. Participants buy spots or teams/elements, but depending on the card draw when the box is opened, some may receive nothing. This depends entirely on the contents of the box and the distribution of the cards. So there's an element of luck involved, which makes the event exciting, but also risky for collectors.

  • What is a Pokéball?

Sometimes we have to organize a “mini” to fill the main spots in a box break. Our minis are called “Pokéballs”. This allows participants to get an extra chance to access spots in the main break at a reduced price.
However, as mentioned above, there are no guarantees in a mini. This means that even if you participate, you won't necessarily receive a spot in the main break. Spots are allocated randomly, and only certain participants will have access to the main break, depending on the draw.

  • How are the cards shipped?

Once a break has been completed, here's how you'll receive your cards:

    1. Card sorting: The organizer will first sort the cards drawn according to teams/elements or participants to ensure that each person receives the cards to which they are entitled.
    2. Packing: The cards allocated to you will be carefully packed to protect them during transport.
    3. Dispatch: The organizer will dispatch the cards to the address you provided when you registered.
    4. Delivery time: The waiting time to receive your cards may vary depending on the organizer.

In short, after a break, you will receive your cards by post, and the organizer will take care of packaging and dispatch.

  • Can there be delivery delays?

Shipping delays may occur after a break. Once the parcel is in the hands of the courier, unforeseen circumstances may arise that are beyond our control. It is therefore advisable to opt for shipment tracking, which is often offered on our website. Please note that this tracking option is not available when you place your order, but can be selected separately. Additional costs apply for tracking.
